Episode 4 - Oh Aparri Oh Aparri

Oh Aparri oh Aparri, why are we the way that we are?

This is how I would describe our tribes discussion about a vote after every round:



It has truly become comical. If you wonder why I never have any idea who the vote is going to be in my confessionals, it's because I can literally predict nothing with this group LOL. Our discussion of the vote for this round came down to....not a few hours before tribal....not 60 minutes....not 20 minutes.....not 20 seconds....it was about half way through tribal when we decided on who the vote was going to be LOL. Every single time when we're at tribal I truly think I am being voted out because of how off everyone is on this tribe. It's SO strange. I don't know how to describe this tribe. We all like each other (for the most part) and are competitive but we're also just so dysfunctional in every aspect that I feel like this tribe is some massive joke and I'm the punchline. 

Anyways, it became pretty clear throughout the day that the vote was going to come down to Kaitlyn vs. Suzi. Jordan wasn't really an option for Sam or Nikki so Kyle/Me didn't push that hard for it. It would've just created too many problems for us. I was actually really starting to bond with Suzi the last couple days and it was really sucky to have to vote her out. Jordan/Sam preferred a Suzi vote whereas Nikki preferred a Kaitlyn vote. So Kyle and I were basically in the middle and decided it would be better for us to keep Kaitlyn around because Nikki/Kaitlyn wouldn't work together and we think both could be great allies for us in the long-run. Suzi went out with total class like the queen that she is and I am very glad I was able to meet her! I just feel really bad for how our relationship started in this game because if we hadn't been so rocky the first couple rounds I bet we could've worked together really well. I BLAME LOGAN!! 




So now where are we at? Well we got 6 peeps. I'm working with everyone, and have 3 person chats with everyone (me/kyle + 1 other) with the exception of Kaitlyn. So...are Kyle and I becoming the new Logan/Kaitlyn and will be taken out for doing the exact thing they did? Probably. To be fair, we didn't make any of the chats...every single one was created/wanted to be made by the 3rd person. It's not our fault they like us!! My target here would still be Jordan as of now. I think we can make it happen too, but it would have to be a blindside because if anyone has an idol here...my guess is him. I've tried looking for it but I am really stupid and can't figure it out. Fun! This next challenge involves taking our clothes off so I'm hoping our tribe can be good at this. I actually like our odds here especially if there's only 1 tribe going to tribal because Sam has won this before and is giving the girls good advice on what to wear. I will probably have to come up with a strategy for the guys because Jordan won't show up to the tribe chat until 2 minutes before the challenge and Kyle can't make a decision to save his life.

I am getting actually kinda frustrated with Kyle lately! Don't get me wrong, he is my #1 and I love the guy but I am tired of being the bad cop here. We go on our calls...decide on what we want to do (vote out suzi) and it's always me that has to push what we wanna do on the other calls/group chats. It makes me look worse whereas Kyle's go-to line is "I don't care I am truly indifferent". Dude wtf are you talking about!? You just told me 5 minutes ago you cared! It's getting old real quick. If this continues throughout the game I might have to do something about it because it's pretty obvious he's just tryna make me the meat shield in case someone comes for us as a pair...I would be the one to go. I see through it but it's so early I'm gonna let it slide for now. But I have pointed it out to Nikki and Sam individually and I think they're noticing it. When someone is never willing to say their opinion to "play it safe" it starts to become more sketchy than anything. 




But yeah, all in all, this will probably be a typical Aparri round. We will go into the challenge confident, someone will blow it, and then we will decide the vote 2 minutes before we have to actually vote. Lovely! I hope we swap soon. Not just because of how frustrating this tribe can be with the vote...but also because I actually am aligned with everyone here and don't want to vote anyone out...they're all really cool people. We're a mess though. We got people getting covid and others doing some wild shit I will not post here... but as dysfunctional and frustrating this group can be....I'm happy this is where I ended up

WASSUP!! It's been 24 hours which means pretty much nothing has happened at our Aparri camp! We competed in the challenge last night which was fun. Definitely one of the better performances we've had as a tribe. Nikki absolutely killed it, Kaitlyn and I both did great, Kyle did a good job. Sam who had previously won this challenge before surprisingly didn't do too hot and then Jordan just didn't do well at all. I'm hoping we won this challenge since our average score is like 44 pieces of clothing a person which seems high! Who knows though. 2 hours until tribal and of course there's no plan in stone (that I'm aware of). Sam did call Kyle and I last night and pitched a Jordan vote which was shocking. Didn't expect her to push for anything so that was nice to see! She's obviously working in some fashion with Kaitlyn (who is also with Jordan since Jordan also wants to keep her) so yeah...Kaitlyn has done good to get in good graces of the tribe. Not sure where I stand with her tbh. 

I should be fine here if we somehow lost this challenge. SHOULD being the key word. With this group anything is possible! But I believe Nikki is truly with Kyle and I so we should have 3 no matter what. I think the vote will be between Jordan and Kaitlyn most likely. Nikki wants to do Kaitlyn (shocker) and Sam wants to do Jordan (an actual shocker). Jordan doesn't care what happens (again, a shocker) and Kyle doesn't know what the best move to make is (SHOCKING!). I know this is all totally new to this tribe! it's almost like I've been in this spot before lmaooooo

But yeah, I think as of now I am leaning towards a Jordan vote if we lost. But I don't want to say that to anyone unless I know we lose because I think jordan has my back? It's tough with Jordan. He's a good guy and I think he is with me but he just simply hasn't been active enough. It boils down to that. I need people with me moving forward who will be active members of the game and contribute to my success rather than leaching off of it (ouch that sounds mean, I don't mean it to!). It's just he isn't really doing anything (to my knowledge) and hasn't been the entire game. It's hard to trust someone like that, even if they do actually have your back. The other option is Kaitlyn (like I said already) which could be smart since she'll be more threatening in the long run because she could also be a better ally. IDK. I really don't know which way this will go if we lose. As long as I vote with Kyle and Nikki I should be fine. 

Here's to hoping! Also, people suspect a potential swap after we received some tree mail that indicated that (or a terrible 24 hours posting challenge oof). In which case, I will be happy! It's time to change things up around here, whether I get swap fucked or not I just wanna play harder than this. (incoming blindside in 3..2..1..)
