Once again, I have found myself in the middle by deliberately placing myself in the middle. I'm starting to think this is my fault.
I mistakenly thought that this round, if we lost, would be an easy 4-1 Angelica boot. I found out today that Nikki wants to keep Angelica and vote out Olivia, which I am NOT a fan of. That move shuts me off completely from the only inroad I have to OG Koror, and requires me to show a propensity for disloyalty, which I don't want to do this early on.
I'm trying to subtly push Nikki back onto the Angelica plan by suggesting that Willow wouldn't be willing to make such a huge move. Problem is, I think Willow might actually be willing to do it. I can't get a great read on her, but I think that it would be fairly valid for her to be afraid of OG Maraamu's numbers dwindling while OG Koror's numbers stay strong.
If the votes swing against Olivia, and I can't stop them, I'll go along with it, but I think it's a bad move for me, and honestly for Nikki too. I think she's too focused on original tribe lines. I think all sorts of different relationships are going to permeate the merge, and original tribes will only be a small consideration.
I feel like the scrambling before this vote is going to reveal where the lines are, so I honestly hope we vote, so that whoever the target lands on exits the game. Having the person I was about to vote out go into the swap with a grudge would be super bad for me.
After writing this, I'm realizing that the person actually in the middle this round is Willow. If she wants to vote Olivia with Nikki and Angelica, then I can't do shit about it. That makes my opening paragraph pretty lame in hindsight. I'm not going to delete it though. I must remain humble, and hold myself accountable for my bad takes.
