Welcome to your confessional board! You will post your episode 1 confessionals in this thread. Feel free to post videos, but also feel free to type your thoughts here as the round progresses. Nobody will see this board during the game except for production and our trusted viewer’s lounge. For each round after this round, you will create a new thread. If you have any questions about this, message your production chat.
Since it’s the first round, here are a few questions you can answer and discuss:
-What is your first impression of your tribe?
-Do you have any impressions of the other tribes?
-Who could you see yourself working with?
-Is there anyone you don’t see yourself working with?
-What is your strategy coming into this tribe?
-What are you worried about?

Here's where things stand from my point of view:
Michael's my closest ally. I see us sticking together as long as we're on this tribe, maybe longer. The two of us want to see Suzi go this round, but it's unfortunately more complicated than it should be. It seems like Nikki, Logan, and Kaitlyn would all, seemingly independent of one another, rather target Jordan than Suzi. I don't like that because I feel like Jordan has no loyal allies, which means that if I become his loyal ally, all his loyalty and information will go to me. Ideally, the others in the Game Nighters shouldn't have a problem with voting Suzi, but when have you ever seen a Survivor vote go ideally? Don't answer that, I know it's happened, I'm just trying to be dramatic.
The plan right now is for Michael and I to lock in with Sam and Jordan to vote out Suzi, and slowly turn Nikki, Logan, and Kaitlyn against Suzi by indicating that Sam and Jordan are already interested in seeing her go. Hopefully, the rest of the Game Nighters won't want to make waves, and will agree to vote Suzi if we end up having to vote tonight.
I worry that if we win, this plan has time to leak, so I need to keep my individual relationships intact so that if it does leak, I can know about it. I've got allegiances all over the map, so my hope is that people on opposite sides of the game (e.g. Sam and Nikki, Kaitlyn/Logan and Jordan) don't compare notes and realize that I'm playing all sides. I'm optimistic that they won't, which is a telltale sign that they will. I look forward to my downfall.
If nobody compares notes, then it's impossible for a plan to come together against me without me finding out, and at that point, I can determine the best course of action. With the level of secrecy my game requires, it becomes pretty terrifying if a plan is allowed to sit for a few rounds without being acted upon. I'd like to get the Suzi vote done as quickly as possible so that it doesn't have time to leak, and potentially ruin my game.
Because of that, I've been really thinking hard about the merit to throwing challenges. Since we have to strategize anyway, I think it makes sense to act on the strategies we come up with in order to actually benefit from the plans we put in place. If I plan to take someone out of the game, then I want them out of the game, so if I can create an opportunity for that to happen, then I have to seriously consider it.
I do worry that I may be thinking too long term and missing a more immediate danger that's right in front of me, so I need to stay vigilant for the rest of today. Hopefully, if we do vote tonight, I'll come out of the vote with a lot more certainty in where I stand.
