I am delighted and humbled to announce that I am now in as good of a position as I thought I was before.
The past hour and a half completely shifted the dynamics of the game, and now I believe that the people on the bottom of the tribe are Kaitlyn, Suzi, and especially Logan. The fact that it took this long for Logan to end up on the bottom is genuinely surprising, and I think it's indicative of how well his game plan almost worked.
Nikki told me and Michael about the "Yeti" alliance with her, Kaitlyn, and Logan. Michael and I, in turn, leaked the Gatorade Gang to her. The three of us, along with Sam and Jordan, are likely going to be the new five that takes control of this tribe, and I LOVE my positioning within that group.
Jordan also told me and Michael the location of the first password to the idol, so I'm on the second board now. I really want to figure this out and snag the idol for myself. I'll be trying to crack it for the rest of tonight.
If we had lost this immunity, I think I would be in an awful position right now. I'm very lucky that we won and that I was given the opportunity to have these revelations, because otherwise I'd be at Logan's mercy. It's a little demoralizing that I was one challenge loss away from putting myself in such a deep hole, but so much of Survivor is based on luck, and I straight up got lucky tonight. I don't think that invalidates my game in any way, but I do need to be more proactive going forward, or the game will pass me by. It almost did tonight.
If the alliance of myself, Nikki, Sam, Jordan, and Michael comes together before the challenge, I'm probably going to throw it. Logan is too volatile for me to feel comfortable with him in the game. Removing him frees up Kaitlyn and Suzi, who I think will understand the move. Until I vote, I'm only playing half of Survivor, and it's the suckiest half. I want the chance to better my position, and if I feel like I can pull it off, then I won't hesitate. I hesitated this round, and look what almost happened. I won't waste this second shot.
